Grand Mufti's Ramadan message: Show solidarity to migrants

The head of the Islamic Community in Bosnia, Grand Mufti Husein Kavazovic, congratulated the beginning of Ramadan to Muslims and asked them to “show solidarity” and help the increasing number of migrants and refugees arriving in the country.

„Show solidarity on our streets, in communities and society. I call on you to take over responsibility for the increasing number of migrants and refugees in our cities and towns,” Kavazovic said.

“For our ancestors, Ramadan was the time when they competed in good deeds and let’s bring that back again,” the Grand Mufti said.

„I wish happy days of Ramadan to all of you in our country and abroad,” he said.
