London East Academy congratultes to Bosniak Academy of Science and Arts

On the occasion of the newly established Bosniak Academy of Arts and Sciences, headteacher at Al-Mizan School and London East Academy which is based at the London Centre sent congratulation in which is stated:

Congratulations on the inauguration of the Boshniak Academy of Science and Art. We had the honour of hosting the Grand Mufti of Bosnia, Dr Mustafa Ceric, at our humble facilities at the London East Academy (based at the London Muslim Centre) on Friday 17 June, 2011.

We are delighted to hear about the work of your academy, which will contribute in the fields of Science and Art. The opening of the Boshniak Academy in Sanjak is a sign of major achievement for Boshniaks, who have suffered genocide. We commend you for your contribution to the academy and for your efforts for the Bosnian people. Likewise, are also looking forward to your excellent article about the history of Muslims in the Balkans to be published in Arches Quarterly shortly.

I will be, inshaAllah, visiting Bosnia this July as part of a London delegation to take part in the Srebrenica memorial on 11 July. I hope our paths cross during the visit.
