The Grand Mufti of Bosnia congratulates the Egyptian people

Sarajevo, 12th February 2011. (MINA) - On the occasion of the victorious Egyptian revolution, The Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Mustafa Ceric, extended his a letter congratulating the people of Egypt as follows:
"Proud and honest people of Egypt!
With great care and deep concern we have followed the events that have taken place in your country over the past three weeks. Your fears, aspirations and cries have become our fears, our aspirations and our cries. Today, when the new dawn of freedom rises in your country, in the spiritual, cultural and intellectual capital of the Arab and Muslim world, we are grateful to Almighty God and with a joyful heart and tranquil soul wish to send you our sincere congratulations for the courage and perseverance you have shown on your path to freedom.
The Egyptian people has liberated itself of fear, have raised their voices against oppression and injustice, cried out for freedom and have with their nonviolent struggle to regain their dignity, honor and justice became a credible role model not only for the Arab world, but to all people around the world, to those who enjoy the benefits of freedom and democracy, and those of whom it is something they can only dream of.
This day belongs to you, proud and brave people of Egypt. This is your success and your victory! Along with congratulations for this great victory we want to express our sense of pride in your sons and your daughters, your fathers and mothers, and to all of you together who have taught us Bosniaks and inspired us by your example of how to love your homeland, how to keep your faith, and how to fight for honor and dignity.
Your brothers and sisters, Bosniak men and women are by your side, as you have been in the most difficult moments in our history - we are proud of your success! Bosniak men and women have nurtured strong and deep ties in our history, culture and tradition with Cairo and Azhar, our mutual spiritual and intellectual center, where our sight has been focused and for which our hearts yearn. Today, when the first rays of freedom shine on Cairo, Alexandria, the Suez and other Egyptian cities, we are happy that this day will bring good to all people of pure hearts.
This, your great day, is the beginning of a new era not only for you but for all Muslim nations. We are aware that the days ahead will be difficult because of the many challenges that must be tackled. Courage, determination and fearlessness that we have seen in your faces and the dignity that we have witnessed in your steps, guarantee that you will, with God's help, successfully gain true democracy, justice and prosperity that has been denied to you for many years. We therefore call upon all relevant international instances and leaders, all nations of the world, to find inspiration in your example and help you to as easily and painlessly as possible reach your final goal and achieve your long-awaited dream. Almighty God, we ask of You to award the Shahids of this honorable path Paradise and extend their families patience and solace.
May the Almighty God, to whom we must always be grateful, keep helping the people of Egypt, "- was said in the letter of congratulations by the Grand Mufti of Bosnia Dr. Mustafa Ceric.
