Sarajevo, March 14th 2018 (MINA) - Islamic Community in Bosnia-Herzegovina condemns the verbal attacks of President of Rebublika Srpska entity Milorad Dodik at Catholic bishop in Banja Luka Franjo Komarica.

“Religious authorities have right and freedom to speak publicly about all problems members of their communities face, without being insulted, especially from the position of power.

It is unacceptable that in such a brutal manner, as in the last public speeches, the President of the RS entity was doing, attempting to silence the victims and those who only seek the minimum of human dignity and the possibility to live freely with respect to their rights on the land of their ancestors. It is not in the spirit of basic human decency that a political official says to the religious authority that he "barks".

Solidarity with bishop Komarica is in fact the defence of all of us from political power as a force that can not be a measure of truth and justice and will not bring any good to this country and its people”.
